Eric R. Linhardt

Eric is currently the Lycoming County District Attorney. He began his legal career at the Lycoming County Public Defender's Office. He then worked as a civil trial attorney with the Williamsport law firm of Mitchell, Mitchell, Gray & Gallagher before opening his own practice in 1995. Eric's practice concentrated in the area of criminal defense in state and federal courts. Before being elected District Attorney, Eric also acted as guardian ad litem through the Lycoming-Clinton Joinder Board, representing nearly all of the dependent children of Lycoming County in court proceedings. He received his bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Political Science from Union College in Schenectady, New York, and his law degree from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
