Trooper Knight has had a twenty-three year career focused on developing partnerships with 15 local school districts to implement a safe schools focus. After some initial hesitancy and with the increase of school violence over the last 10 years, Trooper Knight now facilitates critical training exercises with four separate school districts. Trooper Knight has been a State Trooper since 1992, currently serving as the Troop School Resource Officer. Trooper Knight was a Police Officer for the Borough of South Williamsport from 1987 to 1992. Trooper Knight is a US Veteran, holds two degrees BA from Mansfield University in Criminal Justice and MS in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama.
