Dr. Kathleen R. Kelley is the superintendent of schools of the Williamsport Area School District. In her over thirty years in public education, she has served as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, reading supervisor, elementary principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. Dr. Kelley has earned a B.S. degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a M.Ed. from California University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Kelley serves on several local, state and national boards. She is a member of the American Association of School Administrators Governing Board, President-Elect of the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators, and an ex-officio member of the James V. Brown Library. Dr. Kelley is a native of western Pennsylvania and has recently moved to Williamsport Area School District. She is married to James E. Kelley, Esq., and has one daughter, Nicole.
