Morris is Shepherd of the Streets for Lycoming County, a ministry sponsored by the United Churches of Lycoming County. He is also Permanent Deacon for Church of the Annunciation in Williamsport. His ministry has spanned forty-six years with pastoral and academic offices in Texas, New York and Pennsylvania. Dr. Smith holds a Bachelor and Master degrees in Religious Education, A Master of Arts in Theology degree, and a Doctor of Theology degree in Pastoral Counseling. He has taught in various locations and denominational venues in the United States and Canada, as well as India, Malaysia, Singapore and Spain. He serves on the Board of Lycoming-Clinton Counties Mental Health and Mental Retardation, is a member of North Central Interagency Council, the Family Housing Alliance and the United Way HAP/FEMA committee, and the Williamsport Interagency Task Force. He is a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and a member of the International Order of St. Luke, The Physician.
